Providence College x OZZI

Providence College sought to modernize its takeout container system to better serve students while strengthening its commitment to sustainability. Faced with inefficiencies in a previous reusable model and ongoing waste from single-use packaging, the college implemented the OZZI reusable container program — a card-based, machine-managed solution integrated directly with student ID cards. In just four months, the program facilitated the return of over 5,000 containers, significantly reducing waste while improving accountability, operational efficiency, and student satisfaction.
